- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
CSIR NET Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for the Joint Research Fellowship (JRF) was 28 years on July 1, 2022.
- The Upper age limit can be relaxed to around 5 years for candidates who belong to the reserved category (SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD) or female applicants)
- The Upper age limit can be relaxed to around 3 years for OBC.
