Question Paper Pattern in Haryana Police Constable Exam

All the questions in the exam will be of MCQ type and objective only. The total number of questions in the question paper will be 100, and 80 marks will be allocated. Candidates will have 90 minutes for completing the paper. There will be questions from the following subject areas:

  • General Studies and Current Affairs
  • Animal Husbandry
  • Reasoning
  • Agriculture
  • Numerical Aptitude
  • Computer
  • English and Hindi Language

The exam is generally held in two shifts- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The question sets are different in two shifts.

The questions come in two languages- Hindi and English. However, candidates can answer from any language options they feel comfortable in.

HSSC Previous Year Police Constable Questions Paper 2018

The 2018 question paper of the Haryana Police Constable started with a question from the General Studies section. The question paper did not follow any particular pattern; questions from the computer came after all the Reasoning questions. Questions of the English language started from number 89 till 94. The Hindi language questions started from number 95 and went on till 100.

Haryana Police Constable Question Paper 2016

The question paper of 2016 (morning shift) started with a question from the numerical aptitude section. In the latter sections, questions from other subjects followed. Here again, no order of subjects was maintained for framing the questions. The questions from the English and Hindi language appeared separately. English language questions started from number 86 and went to 93, while Hindi questions started from 94 to 100.

In the evening shift of 2016 Haryana Police Constable, the question paper differed from the morning shift. This paper started with a question about the 2016 SAARC, followed by more questions from different sections. Here again, questions were jumbled up from all sections. However, English and Hindi languages were present in two separately headed portions. From 86 to 93 were the English questions and from 94 to 100 were the Hindi questions.
