  • At least 50% marks in aggregate in B.E or B. Tech course or in any diploma/ post-graduate diploma course from an institute recognised by the Govt. of India
  • Completed 2 years integrated PG M.Sc. or M.A course from a regional college of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • Completed master’s degree (M.A/MCA/M. Tech) from a University with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • Completed B. Ed. from a recognised University (except IT subject)
  • Holds post graduate diploma in computer and a post-graduate degree in any subject
  • Holds ‘B’ Level from DOEACC along with PG diploma degree in any subject
  • Holds ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ (Ministry of Information and Communication Technology) and graduate degree in any subject
  • Age limit is 40

KVS eligibility criteria for TGT Teacher

  • Completed 4 years integrated PG M.Sc or M.A course from the regional college of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • Completed B. Ed. from a recognised University
  • Qualify the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper-II conducted by CBSE
  • Age limit is 35

KVS eligibility criteria for PRT Teacher

  • Completed senior secondary education with at least 50% marks and 2-year diploma in elementary education or special education
  • Completed senior secondary education with at least 50% marks and 4-year b.El.Ed
  • Completed B. Ed from an NCTE recognised institution (for class 1 to class 4 teacher position)
  • Age limit is 30

KVS eligibility criteria for PRT Teacher (music)

Completed senior secondary education with 50% marks and a bachelor’s degree in Music from a recognised university

Additional requirement

  • Aspirants should be comfortable in both English and Hindi
  • Knowledge of computer applications is required
