The Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is a state-level entrance exam which, when qualified, candidates can enter a teaching life as a government teacher in Punjab. This exam is conducted and supervised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab (SCERT). PSTET Notification 2023 was released on the official website on February 18, 2023. PSEB cancelled the PSTET Paper 2 exam which was conducted on March 12, 2023, due to the marking of answers on the question paper. PSTET 2023 Paper 2 was therefore conducted on 30th April 2023. Eligibility Criteria

• You must have academic or professional qualifications as mentioned in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010.
• You must be following an NCTE-recognised teacher education course.
• Furthermore, you must have passed higher secondary education with at least a 50% aggregate score, along with a 2-year diploma in education if you wish to apply for a primary school teacher (Classes 1-5).
• You must have passed higher secondary education with at least a 50% aggregate score and a 4-year Bachelor’s degree if you are looking forward to applying for secondary level (Classes 6-8).

How to apply for PSTET 2023?

1. Open Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) site as soon as the Punjab TET Notification 2023 is released.
2. Click on PSTET 2023, and you will be directed to a new page.
3. It is advised to read the instructions carefully before applying.
4. In the top right corner of the window, there is a login section that suggests two options; New user / Registered user.
5. If you are a new user, go with the New Registration button.
6. If you are a registered user, log in using the current credentials.
7. As a new user, fill in all the credentials carefully: Name, email, mobile number.
8. Finish the security check and click on the Submit button.
9. In the next step, upload your documents as mentioned to verify your mentioned details.
10. After uploading documents, click on the submit button to submit the PSTET application form 2022.
