Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test (SLAT) is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU), for admission into its Undergraduate (UG) law courses.

Writing Ability Test (WAT)
In WAT, the candidate’s writing abilities are tested. The candidate is asked to write an essay on any topic from social, political, and legal domains. The total marks for this test are 20 and the time allotted is 30 minutes.
Personal Interaction (PI)
PI will also be conducted online in which experts test the personal attributes of the candidate, his proclivity towards a career in law, and his overall personality and communication skills, extracurricular activities, and basic knowledge of the law.
Eligibility for SLAT Exam
Any candidate who has passed XII (10+2) from a central or state board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) is eligible to take the SLAT exam. Candidates who are awaiting results can also apply for SLAT 2023.
