What is meant by the national infrastructure pipeline?

The National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) for FY 2019-25 is a Government exercise to improve world class infrastructure in India. India has an ambitious goal of becoming a $ 5 trillion economy, and to achieve this objective it needs to have robust infrastructure.
