SSC MTS Notification 2020 – The commission on July 25th has released a notice stating that the SSC MTS exam 2020 which was supposed to start on July 1st, 2021 onwards has been postponed due to surge in COVID-19 cases across the country. Step 2: On the official page, you will find the “Register Now” button. Click on the button to start your SSC MTS 2023 Online Application.

Step 3: In the first part of the registration process, you must fill in your General Details, such as, your name, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, Address, Contact Number, Email ID etc.

Step 4: Click on Submit Button, you will get your application number and a mail will be sent to the registered email ID with your login ID and Password.

Step 8: In the final step of the Application Process, you must pay the Application Fees for SSC MTS 2023 Exam through the Online Mode of payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/NEFT etc.) or through an Offline Mode of Payment (E-Challan)

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2023

Important Points regarding SSC MTS Paper I Exam Pattern

• Paper I of MTS Exam has 4 sections namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, General English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.
• The SSC MTS Paper I will be bilingual i.e. both English and Hindi language, except the general English section.
• There are 100 questions in Paper I carrying 1 mark each and negative marking for each wrong attempt is 0.25 marks
• The total duration of SSC MTS Paper I is 90 minutes for the general candidates but for PwD candidates i.e. (cerebral palsy and visually handicapped) candidates the time duration is 120 minutes.

Important Points related to SSC MTS Paper-II Exam Pattern

• Only candidates who qualify in SSC MTS Paper I, are called to write Paper-II.
• Paper-II of SSC MTS exam is a descriptive paper of 50 marks. It tests the elementary language skills of the candidates.
• SSC MTS Paper-II is qualifying in nature i.e. it is mandatory to pass but the marks are not considered for final merit listing.

SSC MTS Vacancy 2020

For the year 2020, MTS vacancy was announced by the commission on 7th March 2022.

SSC has released 3972 vacancies for MTS Non-Technical posts. Out of which, 3266 vacancies are released for 18-25 age group posts, and  706 vacancies are released for 18-27 age group posts. Candidates can check the category-wise distribution of posts in the below table.
