1. Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme

Context:
The President of India presented the “Bhoomi Samman” 2023, felicitating the State Secretaries and District Collectors along with their teams who have excelled in achieving saturation of the core components of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
About the DILRMP:
- It is a central sector scheme that attempts to build upon the commonalities that exist in the arena of land records in various States to develop an appropriate Integrated Land Information Management System (ILIMS) across the country.
- This programme was brought under Digital India in 2016 prior to which it was called the National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP).
- The NLRMP was formed in 2008 when two existing government schemes namely, the Computerization of Land Records (CLR) and the Strengthening of Revenue Administration & Updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR) were merged.
- The ultimate goal of the DILRMP is to replace the present manual presumptive land-title system with a digital conclusive land titling system.
- The scheme is not just a computerization of land records scheme but has been envisaged as a programme that will add value and provide a comprehensive database for planning developmental, regulatory and disaster management activities by providing location-specific information while providing citizen services based on land records data.

INS Sahyadri & INS Kolkata on a port call to Jakarta.
Details:
- The two ships will participate in a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) at sea with the Indonesian Navy towards further bolstering the high degree of interoperability that already exists between the two navies.
INS Sahyadri:
- INS Sahyadri is indigenously built. It is a guided missile frigate.
- INS Sahyadri is a part of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet that is based in Vishakhapatnam.
- It is capable of detecting and neutralizing air, surface, and sub-surface threat as it is fitted with world-class weapons and sensors.
INS Kolkata:
- INS Kolkata is the lead ship of the Kolkata-class stealth guided-missile destroyers of the Indian Navy.
- INS Kolkata was commissioned in 2014 and its home port is Mumbai.
- It is regarded as the most potent warship to have been constructed in India till date.
- It measures 164 meters in length and approximately 18 meters in width and has a full load displacement of 7400 tonnes.
3. India-USA Strategic Clean Energy Partnership

Context:
India-USA Strategic Clean Energy Partnership joint statement released.
Details:
- The Ministerial meeting of the U.S.-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP) was held between the Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the U.S. Energy Secretary in New Delhi.
- The India-USA Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP) was officially launched in 2021.
- Under the SCEP, the United States and India agreed to collaborate across five pillars:
- Power and Energy Efficiency
- Renewable Energy
- Responsible Oil and Gas
- Sustainable Growth
- Emerging Fuels
- The partnership is expected to help India to achieve its goal of installing 450GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
- The sides renewed their commitment to work towards a just, orderly and sustainable energy transition, which prioritises access to reliable, affordable, and clean energy supply.

The NITI Aayog unveils TCRM Matrix Framework to revolutionize technology assessment and drive innovation in India.
TCRM Matrix:
- TCRM Matrix stands for Techno-Commercial Readiness and Market Maturity Matrix.
- It is an assessment tool designed to revolutionize technology evaluation, foster innovation, and fuel entrepreneurship in India.
- The framework presents an integrated assessment model that offers in-depth insights and actionable intelligence to stakeholders at every stage of the technology development cycle.
- This will help policymakers in making effective decisions to foster innovation and drive growth.
