Context:
IEPFA celebrates its 7th Foundation Day.
About Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA):
- The IEPFA is entrusted with the responsibility of administering the Investor Education Protection Fund (IEPF), making refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, matured deposits/debentures, etc. to investors, promoting awareness among investors, and protecting the interests of the investors.
- It was established in September 2016 under the provisions of Section 125 of the Companies Act, 2013 under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
- It is located in New Delhi.

Context:
Union Minister launched the Malaviya Mission.
About ​​Malaviya Mission:
- Union Education Minister launched the Malaviya Mission – Teachers Training Programme by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- Organised by the UGC, in association with the Ministry of Education, the Malaviya Mission – Teacher Training Programme aims to provide tailored training programmes for teachers.Â
- This programme will work for the capacity building of faculty members in higher educational institutions.
- The capacity building under the Malaviya Mission will be mapped to the credit framework to ensure career progression pathways for educators.
- This programme will ensure continuous professional development and help in building capacities of 15 lakh teachers of HEIs through 111 Malaviya Mission centres across India in a time-bound manner.

Jal Jeevan Mission Achieves Milestone of 13 Crore Rural Households Tap Connections.
Details:
- Launched in 2011, the Jal Jeevan Mission aims to provide tap water to all households by 2024.

4. Green Hydrogen Pilots in India Conference

Context:
Green Hydrogen Pilots in India Conference held in the run-up to the G20 Summit.
Details:
- During the one-day conference held by NTPC Limited, various green hydrogen pilots were implemented by both public and private sector companies.
- Green hydrogen pilots showcased included presentations on green hydrogen blending in petroleum and natural gas, green hydrogen mobility, green shipping initiatives, microgrid and mobility, green hydrogen-based microgrid and other initiatives, green hydrogen using off-grid solar, etc.
- The conference aimed at the assimilation of information and encourage the sharing of achievements and challenges faced by the early movers.
