AFCAT Application Form

AFCAT is conducted by Indian Air Force two times a year. Indian Air Force (IAF) released the  AFCAT 01/2023 notification to recruit for vacancies in Flying and Ground Duty branches. Ground Duty comprises both technical and non-technical sub-branches. The AFCAT 1 2023 notification was released on 1st December 2022. According to the notification, the online AFCAT examination will be conducted on February 24, February 25 and February 26, 2023. Interested candidates can fill out the AFCAT application form on the official website.

How to Fill AFCAT 01 2023 Application Form?

Aspirants for IAF are required to apply online on the official website. Aadhaar Card is mandatory for online registration. Applicants will be required to complete the process of Online Application form which will have the following sequences.

• Click “CANDIDATE LOGIN’’ on the Home page- leads to AFCAT Sign-in
• In the next page, applicants to click “NOT YET REGISTERED? REGISTER HERE”.
• Sign Up: Creation of Log-in ID and applicant will receive a password in his/her registered email id. 
• After successful registration, sign in with a registered email id and system-generated password.
• Reset Password- Log-Out (candidates must remember their login ID and password for future use during the examination process). 
• Fresh Log-in.
• Selection of Entry: “AFCAT”; “NCC SPECIAL ENTRY FOR FLYING BRANCH”.
• Click “INSTRUCTIONS”. Read Instructions carefully
• Acknowledgement of having read and understood instructions- Check box to proceed to the next stage.
• Click “APPLICATION FORM FILLING”
• Fill the Application Form with the required details. Upload Photo File, signature and thumb impressions.
• Click “SAVE AND CONTINUE” to proceed to the next stage.
• Click “MAKE PAYMENT”- Online (applicable only for AFCAT).
• Click “PAYMENT STATUS” to view whether payment is successful. If the Registration Number is displayed, it implies that the payment is successful. 

Candidates applying for AFCAT must ensure that they meet the required qualifications as specified by the IAF in the official notification.
