Note:- The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level 

Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT)

  • Candidates eligible for the technical branch have to additionally select EKT paper as per their preference. 
  • It is mandatory for the candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT as well as Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). 
  • EKT is held for three subjects of engineering. They are Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics.

The duration of the AFCAT exam is 2 hours. It is conducted online in multiple shifts. The exam comprises questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.
