Eligibility Criteria for CG TET 2023
Candidates who want to appear for Paper 1 (primary level between classes I and V) should have:
- Passed XII with 50% or more in aggregate
- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in arts/commerce/science subjects, having 50% or more in aggregate
- Candidates completing a diploma in elementary education/special education are also eligible to apply
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education can also apply for the CG TET exam.
Candidates who want to appear for Paper 2 (upper primary between VI and VIII) must qualify the criteria for Paper I and have additional criteria of:
- Completed B. Ed with an aggregate of 45% or more
