INET 2022 Exam Centres

The Indian Navy holds the INET exam to select qualified men and women for the appointment of Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in various areas of the organisation. The official notification for INET 2023, will be released soon, the below information is based on the notification of previous years. Few important points related to the exam centres are as follows:

  • All applicants who submit their applications by the deadline will be invited to take the exam at one of the INET centres.
  • INET exam centres will be assigned based on the preferences of the candidates, subject to the availability of vacancies at that location.
  • Candidates are recommended to choose their exam venues carefully because they cannot be altered once the INET application form has been submitted.
  • The location of the exam centres will be listed on the INET admit card.
  • Any request to modify the location of the INET examination centre, will not be entertained.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam unless they have an admit card and a photo identification.
  • Inside the exam centre, no electronic devices are permitted.
  • Candidates who are selected for the SSB are paid for their travel expenses, which are comparable to the cost of an AC three-tier flight.

List of INET Exam Centres

All qualifying applicants whose applications are submitted by the deadline will be invited to take the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), which will be held at one of the INET centres of their choosing, subject to the availability of vacancies at that centre.
