RRB ALP Age Limit

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the ALP exam in order to fill the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and other technical posts within the Indian Railways.

What is the Age Limit for RRB ALP?

The minimum age to apply for RRB ALP is 18 while the maximum age is 28. However the maximum age was increased following an RRB ALP Notification released in 2018.

As per the new changes the date of birth of the candidate should be between the dates given below (Both dates inclusive):

Indian citizens aged 18-30 are eligible to take the RRB ALP exam. Candidates however must have a Degree/ diploma in engineering. The degree must be prefixed by their mark sheet of matriculation/ SSCL.
