RRB ALP Age Limit

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the ALP exam in order to fill the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and other technical posts within the Indian Railways.

What is the Age Limit for RRB ALP?

The minimum age to apply for RRB ALP is 18 while the maximum age is 28. However the maximum age was increased following an RRB ALP Notification released in 2018.

As per the new changes the date of birth of the candidate should be between the dates given below (Both dates inclusive):

*The date of birth limits for SC/ST & OBC-NCL given in this table includes community age relaxation.

Speaking of age relaxation, the RRB has set the upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to certain different categories. The details of which are given in the table below:

*This also applies for Candidates who have commenced their Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act before attaining the age of 25 years
