Is branch change accepted in IIT Jodhpur for the B.Tech. programme?
An undergraduate student may apply for a branch change only at the end of the second semester if the student satisfies the following criteria.

  • At the end of the second semester, students should have a CGPA:
  • greater than or equal to 7.0 for SC/ST and PD applicants
  • greater than or equal to 8.0 for all other applicants.
  • No backlog at the end of the second semester.
  • There should be no disciplinary action taken against the student.
