SIDBI Grade A Exam – Selection Process

SIDBI Exam selection process is specified in detail in the notification of the Grade A exam. The screening of candidates in SIDBI Grade A exam is done through two stages-

1. Written test – divided in two parts (objective and descriptive test)
2. Interview for Assistant Manager – The candidates who ace the written exam get qualified for the Interview round. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of marks scored in objective and descriptive section taken together against full marks of 250.

SIDBI Exam Paper Pattern & Syllabus

The examination pattern for SIDBI exam is elucidated in the official notification. The SIDBI Assistant Manager exam pattern is as follows –

1. The written exam is divided into two parts-
   • Objective Test
   • Descriptive Test
2. The exam is conducted in Online Mode only for both the tests.
3. To marks for the written exam is 250 of which 50 marks is for the descriptive test.
4. The objective online tests comprises 4 subjects –
   • English Language
   • Reasoning Ability
   • Quantitative Aptitude
   • General Awareness (includes, banking, economic and financial and social awareness)
5. For descriptive tests candidates have to write 2 essays and 1 letter on the topic given by the exam conducting authority.
6. The time duration to complete the objective test is 120 minutes while that of descriptive test 60 minutes are given to complete the test.
7. All tests, except the English Language and Descriptive test will be provided in both English and Hindi.
8. 1/4th marks will be deducted as penalty for marking wrong answer for any question.
9. The Descriptive Test will be evaluated only for those candidates who qualify in the Objective type of tests.

SIDBI Exam Eligibility

Only eligible and interested candidates are invited by the Small Industrial Development Bank of India to apply for the SIDBI Assistant Manager Exam. The eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to apply for the SIDBI Grade A exam is a s follow – 

1. Minimum education required by the aspirants to be eligible for SIDBI exam is Graduation Degree from a government recognized Institute.
2. Candidates must not be less than 18 years of age and neither more than 28 years of age to apply for the SIDBI Grade A exam. There is a certain age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
3. Aspirants must be a citizen of Indian Nationality.

SIDBI Exam Admit Card 

The call letters for SIDBI Assistant Manager exam are uploaded on the official website a week before the exam date. 

Candidates who have applied for the SIDBI exam and fulfills the eligibility for the same are issued the SIDBI exam admit card. 

Applicants have to use their registration ID and Password to download the SIDBI Grade A exam admit card from the official website of SIDBI.

SIDBI Result and Cut OFF

Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) releases the result of SIDBI Assistant manager exam within a month from the date of examination. 

The result for SIDBI Grade A exam is uploaded on the official website. Candidates whose names are there in the written exam result will be notified about the interview process through official notice.
