UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam Fee
This is the registration fee that the applicant pays while submitting their application form for the civil services examination. Those who manage to crack the UPSC Prelims exam are called to fill a separate form for the mains examination and also pay the application fee. Â
UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination Fee
The candidates who are declared to have qualified Civil Services (Main) Examination have to apply online again and submit an online Detailed Application Form [DAF] along with scanned documents and required certificates with the required Examination Fee.Â

How To Pay the Online/Offline Exam Fee?
Online Fee Payment for IAS – Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card can be used to pay the fees or SBI’s Internet Banking is also an available option
Offline Fee Payment for UPSC – Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only.
UPSC CSE Fees – Points To Remember
- Candidates have the option to pay the examination fee either online or offline
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection
- Applications without the prescribed Fee shall be summarily rejected
- If the previous year recruitment is still ongoing and the candidate wishes to apply again, then he/she is eligible for an online application without waiting for the result or appointment letter
- For the applicants in whose case payments details have not been received from the bank they will be treated as fictitious payment cases and a list of all such applicants shall be made available on the Commission website within two weeks after the last day of submission of the online application
