Delhi Police SI Recruitment 2023

The Staff Selection Commission will run an open competitive examination to hire Sub-Inspectors (SI) for the Delhi Police. Departmental candidates from the ranks of Constables, Head Constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of the Delhi Police with at least three years of service and who are not older than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ ST) can also apply for the position of Sub-Inspector.

Delhi Police SI Recruitment 2023- Notification

SSC has released the date on which the Official Notification will be out. The rest of the details can be found in the notification. The notification is expected to come by 14 August, 2022, after the recruitment process for the year 2020 is over. Keep visiting the official website of the Delhi police for any updates. Delhi Police SI Recruitment 2023- Application Process

Application Mode and Fee-

Candidates who are interested can apply through the online mode by going to the official website of the SSC, once the application process begins. The application fee for GEN/OBC is Rs 100, while there is no application fee for Female candidates or candidates belonging to the SC/ST or the Ex- Servicemen. Fees may be paid by BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro RuPay Credit or Debit cards, or in cash at SBI Branches by creating an SBI Challan. Candidates who desire to make a cash payment through SBI challan may do so at specified SBI branches during bank business hours.

Documentations Required-

Keep the following information/documents on hand before starting with One-Time Registration:

• Phone Number (to be verified through OTP)
• Email Address (to be verified through OTP)
• Aadhaar Card- If an Aadhaar Card is not available, please provide one of the ID numbers listed below. (At a later point, you will be needed to provide the original document):
  • Voter Identification Card
  • Passport
  • Driver’s Licence
  • PAN
  • ID from school/college
  • Employer Identification Number (Govt./PSU/Private)
• Information on the Matriculation (10th) Examination Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passage.
• If you have a benchmark disability, you will need to provide your Disability Certificate Number.
• Other than these, a recent coloured passport photograph and signature are also required.

How To Apply-

The procedure for submitting an online application for the examination is divided into two parts:

1. One Time Registration
2. Filling up an online examination application
3. One-Time Registration- For a one-time registration, go to https://ssc.nic.in and click on the “Register Now” link under the “Login” Section.

• Fill in the following details- 

1. Basic details
2. Additional details and contact details
3. Uploading of the scanned image of passport size photograph and signature.

• Click Save to complete the Registration process.

1. Filling Online Application Form- Log in to the Commission’s website (https://ssc.nic.in) using your Registration Number and password to access the online system.

• In the “Sub-Inspector” section, click the “Apply” button.
• Fill all the details and tick the I agree checkbox.
• Preview and Verify the information.
• Make the Payments and submit
• Take out the printout.

This completes the application process.
