All recruitment-related procedures are overseen by the Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board. Every year, the authority holds statewide exams for several jobs in the Himachal Pradesh Police. The Himachal Pradesh (HP) Police holds separate exams for recruitment, including those for SI and Constable positions. The HP Police exam pattern is largely identical for both jobs, with the only variation being the total marks, which are 100 for HP Police SI and 80 for HP Police constable.
The screening exam is followed by a Physical Examination Test for eligible applicants and a physical measuring round. Candidates who pass the test, the PET, and fulfil the minimum physical measurement standards are included on the final merit list. In this article we will cover the exam pattern and the syllabus for the Himachal Pradesh Police Sub Inspector Exam.
It is to be noted that the notification for the HP Police- SI 2023 is not released yet. Candidates can also find the syllabus in the official notification once released.

HP Police SI- Exam Pattern
Candidates seeking for the position of Sub Inspector in the HP Police will be required to take a written exam. The written exam consists of a total of 100 objective type questions which are multilingual (in English and Hindi). The total time is 90 minutes, with no sectional time restriction. The exam pattern is as follows:
