NVS Exam Pattern

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) released the exam pattern for its various non-teaching posts in an official notification in January 2022. The exam pattern is different for most of the posts in NVS. The posts that are available are as follows:

The exam pattern for NVS non-teaching posts usually consists of a CBT (Computer-Based Test) followed up by an interview. There can be changes, however, in the components, number of questions and total marks

1. For the post of Stenographer Stage-II of the Examination will consist of:

A Skill Test/Typing Test [Which will be assessed on PC (Personal Computer) only]

Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute in

English

Shorthand speed of 60 words per minute and typing speed of 30 words per minute in HindiFor the post of Junior Secretariat (Q/RO cadre and JNV Cadre) there will be a typewriting test that will be [will be assessed on PC (Personal Computer) only

2. Stage-II for Electrician cum Plumber exam will consist of a trade test

3. Stage- II for Mess Helper will consist of a Skill Test

4. Based on the performance in CBT and also keeping in view the number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for interview / Trade Test / Skill Test/Document Verification in the ratio as decided by NVS. Intimation to this effect will be uploaded on the NVS website www.navodaya.gov.in in due course.

No, there is no negative marking in the examination. Candidates should try to attempt all the questions in the exam.

What is the pattern of the Navodaya exam?

The Exam Pattern is as Follows: The Exam will be Objective Type. There Will be 80 questions in all for 100 marks. The Time Duration for the Exam Will be 02 Hours.
