Note: All these physical efficiency tests are only qualifying in nature, no marks are awarded for those who pass these tests. Successfully completing them would render the candidate fit and eligible to take part in the next stage of the examination, while failing to achieve the minimum targets will render the aspirant as disqualified.
Note: Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) technology will be used to time each runner individually. For the Physical Efficiency Test, you will only be allowed one chance. The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board will choose the PMT and PET locations in due time.
West Bengal Police Constable Final Written Exam Pattern
It is the fourth phase of the exam, and it comprises of multiple choice questions. Its results are used to compile the final merit list. The final written exam for West Bengal Police Constable will last one hour and includes 85 questions. Each question here carries one mark. Please be aware of the fact that there are no penalties for leaving questions unanswered, but there is a ¼th marks penalty for each question that is answered wrong. Except for the questions in the “English” portion, all of the questions in this exam will be in Bengali or Nepali languages only.
