NEET 2021 Weightage

NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a medical entrance exam, enabling students to seek admissions in medical institutes including government and private, to pursue medicine. This national level exam is carried out by the NTA (National Testing Agency) which is the regulatory body for NEET. The Indian government proposed the “One Nation One Examination” in favour of NEET. NEET – the UG level exam, since 2016, has replaced all the state level entrance exams including AIPMT for admissions to different UG courses in various medical institutes across the country.

NEET Chapter wise Weightage 2021

NEET, the exam carried out in the offline mode, expects students to appear for it after having cleared class 12 board exams or any equivalent exam to be able to pursue an undergraduate degree in medical science. Do chapters of class 12 have more weightage than class 11?

NEET includes the syllabus of both class 11 and 12. Altogether, syllabi of both classes carry equal weightage. If previous yearsโ€™ trends are observed, one or more extra questions would have appeared from class 11 or 12, hence one cannot precisely say which yearโ€™s syllabus carries more weightage. Candidates are suggested to equally concentrate on the overall syllabus as questions can appear from any corner of the syllabus specified.

How to know which chapter carries more marks?
