Steps to Check the FCI Manager Cut-Off

Candidates can check the minimum qualifying marks for the FCI Manager post at the official Food Corporation of India website. Given below are the steps which can be followed to check the FCI Manager cut-off marks:

Step 2 – On the homepage click on the “Current Recruitment” option. You are redirected to the list of current vacancies and notifications released for recruitment if FCI

Step 4 – The zone-wise list of results/ cut-off shall be displayed on your screen

Factors Affecting FCI Manager Cut-Off

There are certain factors based on which the minimum cut-off marks are decided by the conducting body. Refer to the factors influencing the FCI Cut-Off below:

• • Total Number of Vacancies: The cut-off will be lower if there are more vacancies, and higher if there are fewer.
  • Total Number of Candidates taking the test: The cut-offs may be higher depending on the level of competition if more candidates applied for the position.
  • Difficulty Level of the Exam: If the exam is difficult, the cut-off will be lower, and if the paper is not as difficult, the cut-off will rise.

• Previous Year Cut-Off Marks: Previous years’ cut-off marks have a very little impact than the above three factors, but generally the cut-off marks are almost the same every year.

FCI Manager Marking Scheme

Since the FCI Manager exam is not an annually conducted examination, aspirants across the country look for an opportunity to join this Government sector job. Thus, candidates need to work really hard to score more in the examination as the number of vacancies released is way less in comparison to the number of applicants. Candidates must attempt the questions with the least incorrect responses as the exam includes negative marking.

• The marks scored in the Phase I examination are not calculated for the final merit. This level of examination is only qualifying in nature

The FCI has not released the FCI Manager 2020 Cut-Off Marks yet. The final cut-off for the 2019-20 recruitment is yet awaited and the scorecard released is mostly different for different zones and candidates can get the category-wise cut-off as well.
