The main purpose of releasing the UPSC EPFO Notification is to make a candidate familiar with the recruitment process, exam dates, selection process, eligibility criteria, salary and online application details for that respective examination.

UPSC EPFO Eligibility
The UPSC EPFO Eligibility criteria consists of the following:
- Age Limit
- Nationality
- Educational Criteria
The age limit for the following posts are:
- Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer: 30 Years
- Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner: 35 Years
Nationality:
- A citizen of India,
- A subject of Nepal,
- A subject of Bhutan,
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Educational Criteria:
Candidates must possess a valid bachelors degree of any stream from a recognized institution.
UPSC EPFO Application Fees
Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are
exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
- Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay-in-Slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only “Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated at 11:59 P.M. of 16 th March 2023 i.e. one day before the closing date.
- However applicants, who have generated their Pay-in-Slip before it is deactivated, may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date.
- Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reasons whatsoever, even if holding valid pay-in-Slip will have no other offline option but to opt for available online Debit/Credit Card/UPI Payment or Internet Banking payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 18:00 hrs (6:00 P.M.) of 17th March 2023.
- Those candidates who wish to apply for both the posts have to pay Rs. 50/.
- However, those candidates who wish to apply for the single post have to pay Rs. 25/ No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
- Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
