On 11th April 2019, the State Bank of India announced through its official notification that it plans to recruit for 8,653 vacancies for the post of SBI Clerk or Junior Associates. These vacancies are primarily meant for those candidates who are gearing up to step into the banking domain through competitive examinations. The SBI Clerk Prelims Exam is an online examination which is scheduled to be held in the month of June 2019.

According to the latest official notification released by the bank for SBI Clerk Prelims, there are no minimum marks prescribed to qualify for individual subjects. This implies that there are no SBI Clerk Prelims cut-offs in the different sections of the exam. The criteria lie at the sole discretion of the bank. English Language: Under this section, a candidate’s English language skills like grammatical skills, oral reading passage or comprehension, phonics and vocabulary are assessed such as Reading Comprehension, Para jumbles, Error Detection, Cloze Test, Fillers, Sentence Completion, Sentence Improvement, Spelling Errors, Word Replacement, Sentence Rearrangement, Idioms and Phrases, Vocabulary, etc.

Applicants who are appearing for the SBI Clerk Prelims exam can download the call letter for the exam from the bank’s official website in the 1st week of June 2019 and check the venue details mentioned in the hall ticket properly before they appear for the exam.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Result

The SBI Clerk 2019 Exam Date (Preliminary) is scheduled in the month of June 2019. Being the initial stage of selection, the SBI Junior Associates Prelims result will be announced in a tentative date during July 2019. When SBI Clerk Prelims results are declared, the shortlisted candidates can start preparing for the Mains exam scheduled on August 10, 2019.
