RRB JE Cut Off

The Railway Recruitment Board releases the cut off marks for the Junior Engineer exam along with the RRB JE result. Candidates will be able to check the cut off marks online by logging in to the official website of Reginal RRBs.

Candidates appearing for the Junior Engineer examination in Railways are required to obtain the minimum cut off marks as set by the conducting body in all the stages to be eligible for the next process of selection. The different stages of RRB JE Cut Off are as mentioned below –

RRB JE Cut off 2023 CBT 1

This is a screening test which is used to filter candidates as per their performances in the exam. The cut off for this stage will determine the list of candidates who will be appearing for the CBT 2 exam. To select candidates for RRB JE Stage 2 or CBT 2 Exam, the results of CBT 1 will be normalised. The candidates will be narrowed down according to the merit list. The RRB JE Recruitment Notification will be released by the officials along with the minimum passing percentages for each candidate category. The Minimum Qualifying marks that candidates are required to secure to be eligible for the next stage of the selection process are as follows –

RRB JE Cut off 2023 CBT 2

The JE CBT-2 exam is the 2nd stage of the Railway Junior Engineer selection process. The exam is important because the marks scored here are considered for drawing the final merit list. candidates in this stage need to score the minimum cut off as well as qualifying marks as decided by the conducting body to proceed to the final stages.

There will be a total of five sections in the computer-based Stage II RRB Junior Engineer exam. Candidates will be able to determine their scores in the manner described below:

• The exam will have a total score of 150; candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct response they submit.
• Candidates who provide incorrect answers during the exam will receive a penalty of one third of the total mark.
• The applicants are chosen for document verification and a medical exam following the release of the CBT 2 results. To be shortlisted, candidates must obtain the cutoff scores. 
• The minimum qualifying marks will be the same as CBT 1 of the RRB JE exam:

If two or more candidates obtain the same score, the age criteria will be used to determine the RRB JE final result 2023. Older candidates will be given higher merits, and if the age is the same, the alphabetical order of the candidates’ names (from a to z) will be used to break ties.

RRB JE Document Verification and Medical Exam

Candidates who are able to score the minimum cut off marks in the CBT 2 are called to appear for the document verification and medical exam. This is a standard procedure and is the last stage in this recruitment process. The Final merit list will be declared after this procedure is completed.

It is important to remember that candidates must bring all relevant original documents needed to meet any requirements specified in the online application form. No future date will be set in the absence of any necessary documents, and the candidate’s candidacy will be withdrawn regardless of where they place in the results. 

There is a list of documents that applicants must bring with them when they appear for the document verification round. They are detailed below:

• Birth Certificate for the proof of date of birth or a Matriculation Certificate
• High School/ Matriculation Examination Certificate.
• Degree or Diploma Certificate.
• Medical certificate for persons with difficulty. (PWD)
• Income certificate for waiving examination fee.
• Category Certificate.
• NOC (No Objection Certificate) from serving employees or ex-servicemen.
• Minority declaration on non-judicial stamp paper.

All candidates who passed the DV must go through the medical examination conducted by the Railway Administration, which is a necessary step in the RRB JE recruiting process. To receive the official appointment letter, candidates must pass the medical examination.
