How to fill SSC CPO Application Form?

Now that the aspirants are aware of the important dates regarding CPO exam online application, They should also go through the steps they are required to follow in order to fill the SSC CPO Registration Form.

Before filling out the SSC CPO Form, candidates are required to keep the following things handy, as they are going to need it while filling the CPO application form.

SSC CPO Online Registration – Requisites

1. Recent scanned colour passport size photograph (not more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination) in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
2. The photograph should be without cap and spectacles. Applications with blurred photographs will be rejected. If the proper photograph is not uploaded by a candidate, his candidature will be cancelled.
3. Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB). Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Applications with illegible or blurred signatures will be rejected. 
4. Details of qualifying educational qualification like Class 10th Roll number, marks and year of passing, percentage or CGPA, name of university, etc.
5. Aadhaar Number
6. Valid phone number/ Email Id
7. Caste Certificate or PwD certificate if applicable

With all the above mentioned things ready, candidates can move ahead with filling the CPO application form. 

Steps to Apply Online for SSC CPO Exam – 

1. Visit the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in)
2. Login to the online system through your Registration Number and password.
3. Click the ‘Apply’ link in ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2023’ Section under ‘Latest Notifications’ tab.
4. Fill in all the required fields to generate the registration number and password,if you are registering for the first time. Else, Information will be automatically filled from your OneTime Registration Data.
5. Fill in the personal information and educational qualification asked.
6. Upload your recent passport size photograph and signature both scanned.
7. Select any three exam centres from the given region.
8. Recheck the information once the form has been completely filled because once the final submission is done no changes can be made on the SSC CPO application form.
9. Go through the declaration carefully and click on “I agree” checkbox, if you accept the same. Fill up captcha code.
10. Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of fee. Pay the SSC CPO application fee and the online application form is accepted provisionally. 

Important Note – Candidates should take printouts of the application form for their own records. Printout of the ‘Application Form’ is normally not required to be submitted to the Staff Selection Commission at any stage. However, you may be required to provide a printout of the online application form to address grievances related to online application, if any.

SSC CPO Application Fees

Candidates filling out the CPO online application are required to pay the necessary application fee which is different for different category candidates. The application fee for CPO can be paid through both online and offline modes to complete the SSC CPO application form process.

The application process is only complete once the application fee has been paid by the candidate. Given below are the online and offline modes of payment for the candidates to pay the application fee:

• The online payment for SSC CPO online application fee can be done through BHIM, UPI, Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking;
• The Offline Payment can be made by generating SBI Challan offline at SBI Branches.

The SSC CPO application fee is as mentioned below:

Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.

Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Re-generation of SSC CPO Registration ID & Password

In case, any candidate forgets the CPO registration ID and password that is required to login to registered account for further formalities, he/she can re-generate the RID and Password by following the simple steps mentioned below:

• Visit the Staff Selection Commission official website
• Click on the tab Forgot Password
• Select the permanent state
• Enter the details asked such as registered email ID (mail Id given at the time of filling the CPO application form)/ mobile number (given while filling SSC CPO registration)
• Click on Submit and candidates will be able to generate the new login password.
