CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES(CAPF) Examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz.
- Border Security Force (BSF)
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
- Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)
- Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC CAPF 2023 Notification and application form for UPSC CAPF Exam 2023 on its official website on 26th April 2023. The UPSC CAPF exam is scheduled to be conducted on 06th August 2023. The selection will be done through Written-test, Physical tests, and Interview/Personality tests. The online application window has been opened from 26th April 2023 onwards. The last date to apply online for UPSC CAPF 2023 Exam is 16th May 2023.
The CAPF Result 2022 for the exam held on August 7, 2022, has been released by the Union Public Service Commission on 16th September 2022.
CAPF Posts 2023
The CAPF recruits suitable candidates for different posts. There are a total of 253 openings for Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
