Konkani Literature is an optional subject in the UPSC Civil Services examination. The language is widely used in Goa, coastal Karnataka and Maharashtra. It is included in the eighth schedule of the Constitution of India, making Konkani one of the 22 official languages of India.
Aspirants should analyze the syllabus of Konkani literature optional for IAS Mains. Konkani has a long history and rich living literature. The optional subjects have two papers: Paper-I and Paper- II.
