The Food Corporation of India released a total of 330 vacancies for 2019-20 recruitment for various departments under FCI. These vacancies were released zone-wise for five different regions of India.

Candidates shall be appointed as FCI Manager shall have to undergo a six months training period. During these six months, a Management Trainee will be given a stipend of Rs.40,000/- per month. 

Once the training will be over, these Management Trainees shall be promoted to the post of Manager and shall be liable to fall in the IDA pay scale of Rs.40,000 to Rs.1,40,000.

Unlike any other government exam, there is a set of eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to fulfil to apply for the post of FCI Manager.

Three main FCI Manager eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled. This includes the Nationality, educational qualification and age limit.

The selection process for FCI Manager recruitment 2020 comprises 3 phases:

The online examination is further divided into two phases. Phase I and Phase II examination.

Note: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrongly answered question in the Phase I examination. There is no negative marking in the Phase II examination.

Paper I & II and Paper III & IV are conducted in the same sitting and candidates need to prepare themselves accordingly.
