Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) are important exams for aspirants who aim to get into government service. RPSC RAS & RTS 2021 examination cycle commenced with the Prelims examination on October 27, 2021. Recently, (November 24, 2021), the RPSC announced the dates for the Mains examination. As per the notice, RPSC RAS & RTS Mains examination will be conducted on 25 and 26 February, 2022.
The RPSC RAS and RTS notification for the year 2022 will be released after the completion of the RAS and RTS examination cycle for the year 2021.
Scheme of the RAS and RTS Examination 2021-2022
The Combined Competitive examination for RAS and RTS is conducted in two stages:
Stage 1 comprises the preliminary and main (written) examinations, whereas stage 2 is the personality test.
Preliminary Examination: Objective Type
The preliminary examination is a screening test only. The candidates who clear the preliminary round qualify to write the mains examination. However, the marks scored in the Preliminary round are not counted to determine the final order of merit or ranks.

The main examination comprises four papers which are descriptive in nature.

Personality and viva-voce Examination
Stage 2 comprises a personality test. It carries 100 marks. The candidates need to score the following marks to appear in the personality test:
- Must score minimum 10% marks in each of the papers and
- 15% marks in aggregate out of the total marks for all the 4 papers in the main examination
Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum marks is given to candidates who belong to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes categories.

RPSC RAS & RTS Exam Application Fee 2021-2022
The RPSC notification for the year 2022 is yet to be released. However, to get an idea of the fee payable by various categories, the 2021 RAS/RTS exam application fee is given in the following table.
