HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria
The Haryana Civil Services notice specifies the qualifying requirements for the Haryana Civil Services. The HCS test eligibility requirements establish three elements that a candidate must achieve before taking the HCS exam. These are the qualifying criteria:
Educational Qualification
An applicant must be a graduate of a recognised institution in any field. Candidates in the last year of their graduating degree course may apply; however, the date of the final year mark sheet or scorecard must be before the HCS closing date. The date on the degree certificate/mark sheet shall be prior to the HCS closure date. The HCS application expires 30 days following notice, making it very impossible to get the final year mark sheet within that time frame. As a result, the applicants may be rejected at a later stage.
Age Limit for Haryana PCS Exam
This is a unique element of this test since the unreserved category applicants’ maximum age restriction is 42 years (except for DSP jobs). The minimum age is 21 years old. The age is calculated beginning on January 1 of the exam year.
Documents Required for HCS Application
The papers required to complete the HPSC application form are listed below.
- Graduation Degree Mark Sheet
- Graduation diploma
- If applicable, a caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
- Evidence of identification and proof of family income
