Every year, Union Public Service Commission holds the CAPF Assistant Commandants (AC) Exam to select Assistant Commandants for the Central Armed Police Force. Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC CAPF 2023 Notification and application form for UPSC CAPF Exam 2023 on its official website on 26th April 2023. The UPSC CAPF exam is scheduled to be conducted on 06th August 2023. Candidates awaiting the UPSC CAPF Notification 2023 filled up the application form online on the official website of UPSC. The CAPF Result 2022 was recently released by the Union Public Service Commission on 16th September 2022. The UPSC CAPF AC exam was conducted on 7th August 2022.
The UPSC CAPF AC selection process consists of a written test, PST, PET, Medical Test, and a personal interview. The UPSC CAPF AC written exam comprises 2 papers- Paper I and Paper II held in two separate shifts on the same day.

About CAPF AC Exam
As mentioned above the CAPF AC exam is conducted in two different shifts on the same day. Paper, I was conducted from 10 AM to 12 PM on 7th August in different exam centres across the country. Paper I consists of 125 questions in total, each worth 250 marks. Each question carries 1.25 marks, and there is a 0.33-mark penalty for incorrect answers.
Paper II of the CAPF exam deals with General Studies, Essays and Comprehension. The candidate must put their responses on the paper because this paper is subjective in nature. Only English will be used for precise writing, comprehension components, and other language and communication capabilities. The paper’s essay section can be written in either English or Hindi.
