Latest Update: The State Bank of India released the SBI Clerk Result 2022 for the preliminary exam on January 2, 2023, along with the scorecard and qualifying marks. The SBI Clerk Result for Prelims Exam has been officially declared by SBI. Candidates who attempted the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2022 can now check their qualifying status and marks through the SBI official website at www.sbi.co.in/web/careers. It is anticipated that the SBI Clerk Mains  2022 will be conducted in January 2023.

On the 12th, 19th, 20th, and 25th of November and the 11th of December 2022, SBI held the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam to fill 5486 Junior Associate positions. The SBI Clerk exam is conducted in two stages:

• SBI Clerk Prelims
• SBI Clerk Mains

Over the years, the number of applicants has increased. This has directly affected the SBI Clerk result. The cut off marks have increased, and the number of vacancies is way less in comparison to the number of applicants.

SBI Clerk Result 2022: Overview

Candidates will be selected to write the SBI Clerk Mains test based on the results of the SBI Clerk Preliminary exam. The final merit list will not take into account the Prelims exam scores. Based on the results of the Mains exam, the SBI Clerk final selection result will be released. It is to be noted that the SBI Clerk prelims result can be accessed through login by entering registration number/registration number, password, and captcha code. The SBI Clerk Mains result is published in PDF format and includes the roll numbers of successful applicants. After passing the local language test, candidates are ultimately chosen for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) position depending on how well they performed in the main exam.

For the main exam, a sufficient number of applicants in each category, as determined by the bank, or roughly ten times the number of vacancies, will be chosen. Candidates must obtain a minimum percentage on their overall score in the main exam (there is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates). The minimum qualifying marks on the overall score will be set by the bank. There will be a state- and category-specific merit list. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective states and categories. 

Candidates qualifying the Mains exam will have to appear for the test of the specified opted local language. Candidates who pass the main exam must show up for the examination in the chosen local language. The final decision will be made after the candidates have passed the test in the chosen local language and their eligibility has been confirmed. There will be a waiting list for up to 50% of open positions (State-wise category).

The SBI Clerk result for candidates who appear for the examination is released on the official website of SBI. Candidates can login through their roll number and password and check their results online. 

The same procedure can be used by candidates to check the SBI Clerk scorecard once it is released. The past few years have shown that SBI first releases the SBI Clerk result and following it a week later the scorecard is released.

SBI Clerk Prelims Result

SBI Clerk Cut Off

The SBI clerk result for the Junior Associate post is based on the cut off which is released by the conducting body based on various factors.

Cut off is nothing but the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate must score to reach the next phase of the examination. The State Bank of India has removed the sectional cut off and candidates now only need to score more than the overall cut off to crack the exam.

The SBI Clerk exam is given in a number of shifts and time slots, hence the level of difficulty varies according to shift. • If the tie continues, candidates older in age are considered.
