PPSC Exam Pattern 2023

The Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination has three stages. The exam pattern of Prelims and Mains of the PPSC Exam are discussed below:

PPSC Prelims Exam Pattern

The preliminary competitive examination will consist of two papers of 200 marks each and shall comprise objective type (multiple choice) questions. The detail is as follows:

  • Both the papers will be of objective type multiple-choice questions.

  • There will be no negative marking in the written preliminary examination test, however, there may be negative marking for any objections to the Answer Key found false/frivolous/not supported by authentic evidence.
  • The question paper shall be bilingual and shall be printed in English (Roman script) and Punjabi (Gurumukhi Script) except for questions where candidates’ proficiency in the language is to be tested.
