The RPSC RAS Main Exam 2023 has been postponed to July 20 and 21, 2024. It was earlier scheduled to be held on January 27 and 28, 2024. This is the official notification:
“Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2023 to be organized by the Commission on 27.01.2024 (Saturday) and 28.01.2024 (Sunday) in continuation of the decision taken in the meeting of the Honorable Full Commission dated 23.01.2024. is postponed. The said examination will now be conducted on 20.07.2024 (Saturday) and 21.07.2024 (Sunday).”

- The fresh dates for RAS Mains 2023 are 20th and 21st July 2024. These dates were announced by the Commission on 24th January 2024.
- The RPSC RAS prelims result and the final answer key were released on October 20, 2023, and the final marks were released on October 23, 2023.
- This recruitment drive will fill up 905 posts in the organisation.
- The registration process was started on July 1 and ended on July 21, 2023.
What is RPSC & RAS Exam?
RPSC stands for Rajasthan Public Service Commission that is responsible for recruitment in state and subordinate services.
RAS stands for Rajasthan Administrative Services. Candidates have to sit for Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination, (TSP & Non-TSP) to get selected in RAS.
What is TSP & Non-TSP?
TSP stands for Tribal Sub-Plan areas. The areas having a tribal population of more than 50 percent.
Non-TSP stands for Non-Tribal Sub-Plan areas. The areas other than TSP areas are categorized as Non-TSP.

How to submit RAS recruitment notification?
The step-by-step process is described below:
- Visit, RPSC official website – https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/
- Click, ‘Apply Online’ link
- Log in at ‘SSO Portal’
- Select, ‘Recruitment Portal’
- Register using ‘One Time Registration (OTR)’
- Fill the Application Form and make the payment using Recruitment Portal services
- Application ID will be generated
Candidates must note the following points while using the RPSC Online portal for application:
- Once payment is successful, avoid using any other portal or service
- Payment once successful, will not be refunded
- To make any changes in the application form, Commission would announce a date by when one has to make amendments
- Register the mobile number which is active
- There is no avenue to submit the application offline.
