The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) gives candidates the choice to take the Civil Services Exam in English or any Indian language listed in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Although, a majority of the candidates take the IAS mains exam and the interview in English, many candidates opt for Hindi as well.
