IIT Delhi or IITD, was established in the year 1961. This institution is publicly owned and is among the top Indian IIT colleges. • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi like other IITs have a similar process for admission. We have listed a few ways in which a student can get into the institute.
• Admission to BE/ B.Tech program is done on the basis of marks obtained in JEE exams.
• Students who have qualified in JAM are eligible for admission to M.Sc program.
• M.Tech and M.Des admission are offered based on scores that students achieve in GATE and CEED respectively. Students can also apply for these programs directly via the institute’s written test and interview.

IIT Delhi Placements

IIT Delhi offers a lot of placements in some of the top companies in the world.  The placement cell at IIT Delhi provides a lot of training to the students before the campus placements. If the student wishes to attend these training conducted by the placement cell they have to register for it. 

The Companies that are invited for the placements have to fil a  Job Notification Form (JNF)/Training Notification Form (TNF) for the positions they would like to hire the students. A company organises a Pre Placement talk with the students before the actual placements begin. Students are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the tests, group discussion and the interview and finally, the jobs are offered to the students
