As per the exam calendar, SSC GD examination 2021 was scheduled for August 2nd onwards, but due to a delay in the release of official notice for the exam, the new dates for the exam will be notified by the commission later.

Important Points – 

  1. The vacancies are Tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission
  2. Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India
  3. 10% vacancies are earmarked for Ex-servicemen (ESM). If suitable ESM candidates are not available, vacancies reserved for ESM will be filled by non-ESM candidates of respective categories.
  4. As the vacancies in CAPFs have been earmarked States/ UT-wise, candidates are required to submit Domicile/ Permanent Residential Certificate of the State/ UT indicated by them in the online Application Form at the time of DME/ Documents Verification failing which his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith and the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination.

SSC GD Application Fee:

As per the SSC GD Notification 2021, application fee for taking the exam was Rs. 100/-. However, women candidates, Ex-Servicemen, and SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
