SSC released the SSC JE 2020 final result on its website on May 20, 2022. The detailed result of the SSC JE exam was uploaded on May 31, 2022 on its official website. Before that the final results for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2019 were declared on 27th January 2022.

SSC JE Exam 2023 Overview

The official notification for SSC JE Exam 2023 is awaited. The Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022 (Paper-I) was administered by the Staff Selection Commission in computer-based mode from November 14 through November 16 at various locations around the nation.

The SSC JE Paper I 2020 was conducted from March 22nd to March 24th 2021. The SSC JE Result 2020 for Paper I was released on June 30th 2021. The SSC JE Result for Paper II was conducted on 26th September 2021 results of which were announced on 20th May 2022.

Steps To Check SSC JE Result 

Candidates who appear for the SSC JE Paper-I and II can check their names in the final list by following the steps mentioned below:

Step-1: Visit ssc.nic.in the official website of the Staff Selection Commission

Step- 2: Click on the “Result” icon on the right-hand corner of the page

Step- 3: Under Results head, click on the ” Junior Engineer ” tab. 

Step- 4: You will see three columns against each row stating Write Up, Result & Marks. The “Result” contains the list of qualified candidates, “Write Up” contains important information like cut off marks and “Marks” will be displayed shortly by SSC.

Step- 5: Click on “Click Here” under the result column to check your SSC Junior Engineer Result.

Step- 6: The list of candidates who qualified will be shown. 

Step- 7: Press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name or Roll Number.

Step- 8: If you have qualified the paper I of the SSC JE exam, your Name or Roll Number will be highlighted.

How is the case of Tie resolved in the SSC JE Result?

In case there is a situation of Tie in SSC JE marks of the candidates i.e. more than one candidate secured the same marks, the commission resolves the tie by applying the methods given below one after another in their order:

• Total marks obtained by the candidate in Paper-II will be checked
• If still, the tie persists, then the total marks secured by the candidate in Paper-I will be considered
• Candidates’ Date of birth will be considered, placing the older candidate higher.
• Lastly, Alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates appeared.

Staff Selection Commission has released SSC JE Result 2022-23 for Paper-1 exam on 18th January 2023 at the official website www.ssc.nic.in along with category-wise SSC JE Cut off marks.

SSC JE Result 2020

The SSC JE 2020 Results were recently released on 20th May 2022, on the official website of the SSC. The exam dates for the SSC JE 2020 cycle is given below:

It is to be noted that:

• A total of 8681 aspirants qualified to appear in paper II Civil/ Quantity Surveying whereas 1919 candidates were called for appearing in the Electrical/Mechanical department.
• However, despite having received more marks than the final candidates in their respective categories (EWS+OH and EWS+HH), the results of 35 applicants were not certified qualified. 
• These aspirants (19 from Electrical/ Mechanical and 16 from Civil) were later shortlisted for appearing SSC JE exam for paper II on the day of the announcement of the additional result.

SSC JE Result 2019

The notification for SSC JE 2019 exam was announced on 13th August 2019. The date for SSC JE Result 2019 was announced by the commission. The exam dates for 2019 paper I are from March 30th to April 2nd 2020, which was postponed due to the outbreak of the pandemic disease Coronavirus.

Based on the result of Paper-I of the SSC JE Exam, 5,681 candidates (Civil: 4,750 and Electrical/Mechanical: 931) were qualified for appearing in Paper-II. This number of candidates appeared for Paper II which was held on 21st March 2021. The result for Paper-II has been released by the commission on 23rd November 2022. The final results of SSC JE 2019 are expected to be released on 31st January 2022.

On the basis of the cut-off fixed by the Commission in Paper-II, 2532 candidates were qualified in Civil Engineering and 358 candidates were qualified in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering for appearing in Document Verification. Consequent to Document Verification, 1152 candidates (1008 – Civil Engineering & 144 – Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering) have been finally selected for appointment.

SSC JE Result 2018

The SSC JE Result Paper II 2018 scheduled to be announced by the SSC on April 9th, 2020 was postponed due to COVID-19.
