NRA CET Notification

National Recruitment Agency Common Eligibility Test (NRA CET) will be conducted as a screening/preliminary exam. It aims at shortlisting candidates for multiple Group-B and C non-technical and non-gazetted posts. According to an official statement from Dr Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State, NRA is likely to conduct the CET from early 2022. Posts and Vacancies

According to the recent NRA CET Notification 2022, this exam will be conducted to fill vacancies against Group-B and Group-C non-technical and non-gazetted posts. • The NRA will initially conduct the CET for three sectors:
  • Railway Recruitment Board
  • Staff Selection Commission
  • Institute of Banking Personnel Selection
• It will be held separately for three levels – graduate, 12th pass and 10th pass – for the non-technical posts of the three agencies.
• The NRA will conduct a common preliminary exam for all IBPS, SSC, and RRB posts.

Eligibility Criteria

As the NRA CET is likely to conduct multiple exams, there are no specific eligibility criteria. However, the following criteria need to be maintained for appearing for this exam.

• Candidates should be citizens of India.
• They must have completed 10^th and 12^th standards and graduate degrees from recognised boards.
• Furthermore, they must comply with the age limit.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The NRA CET will be conducted in 12 Indian languages, including English and Hindi. In addition, the candidates will have to answer MCQs in the following areas.

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension

There will be about 25 questions from each of these subjects. Every correct answer will fetch two marks for the students, while one incorrect answer means a negative marking of 0.25.
