Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria
Some of the Assam CEE eligibility criteria to take up the examination are:
The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must have a PRC/domicile issued by the competent authority.
Age Criteria:
The lower age limit of applicants must be 17 years on the specified dates.
The upper age limit must be 22 years as of 1st August 2023.
Relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is applicable for SC and ST candidates.
Educational Criteria:
- An applicant should have completed Class 12 or any equivalent exam from a known university or board before the date of admission. Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English should be studied as compulsory subjects in Class 12.
- General category applicants must score a minimum of 50% marks in the HSC exams.
- SC Category applicants should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. The ST category applicants should have scored a minimum of 40% marks in Class 12 final exams.
