The Central Board of Secondary Education also known as CBSE is a Board of Education for private and public schools under the Union Government of India. It conducts the final examination for class 12 and class 10 which are termed as Higher Secondary School Examination and Secondary School Examination respectively. The CBSE conducts these examinations during March-May every year.
The Central Board of Secondary Education affiliates all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, all Kendriya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools which are approved by Central Government of India.
Conduct of Examination
- According to Central Board of Secondary Education, the whole process of the exam will be conducted in the given time period, which is around 45 days.
- The CBSE exam for both 10th and 12th standard starts in the 2nd week of March and concludes in mid-April.
- The results of the exams are announced by the end of May.
