Karur Vysya Bank KVB PO Recruitment 2017

Karur is a well known Private sector bank in India having its headquarters in Karur in Tamil Nadu. This bank that operates in treasury, corporate/ wholesale banking and retail banking segments was started in 1916 with 660 branches across India. The Karur Vysya Bank have released a notification for the recruitment of Probationary post and since it is a private bank, they do not follow the recruitment procedure of the IBPS.

Hence, the recruitment procedure for the post of PO is given below:

Post – Vacancy

Probationary Officer: The number of posts available in not yet specified.

Salary: Rs 5.50 lakhs / annum

Online Application: June 10, 2017 – June 19, 2017

Written Exam Date: July 2017

Eligibility criteria:

Age: Less than 28 years, as on May 31, 2017

Degree: – PG degree (Any discipline)

  • Btech/ BE / BSc Agriculture
  • Dual degree

=> The Above mentioned degrees should have a minimum of 60% marks aggregate as on May 31, 2017.

– Post Graduate final year students having exams in May/ June 2017 are also eligible to apply.

Note: Candidates possessing a degree through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education are not eligible to apply for the post.  

Selection Procedure:

  • Online Examination
  • Personal Interview

The first part of the recruitment procedure is an Online Examination which will be held in July and the candidates who have qualified the exam and are shortlisted will be called for the PI.

Like other Bank Exams, each correct answer marked will fetch you 1 mark and a penalty of 0.25 for every wrong answer marked. The candidate has to clear the individual cutoffs as well as total score cutoffs.

The Pattern of the Online Exam is given below:

Registration & Fees:

An exam fee for registration will cost Rs.600 which will have to be paid online only. The fee is same for all categories.
