Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education also known as MSBSHSE is an autonomous body. It was established under Act No. 41 of 1965. It has nine divisional boards which are located in Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Amravati, Latur, and Aurangabad. This board conducts HSC and SSC exams for the students studying under Maharashtra State Board. The exam is conducted twice every year. Around 14 Lakh appear for HSC, and 17 Lakh appear for SSC exam.
