Acceleration due to gravity g=10ms-2

Step 2. Find the vertical height of the end B above the floor.

We know the equation to find the work done W=mgh2 (where h is the vertical height)

h=2Wmg

By substituting the given data we get

h=2×10010×10h=2m

Thus the vertical height of the end B from the floor is 2m
