NSTSE 2022

What is NSTSE?

The National Level Science Talent Search Examination, commonly known as NSTSE, is a skill test conducted by the Unified Council, a professionally managed progressive organization, with an objective to identify and nurture the best brains of the country in the science discipline. Being a curriculum-based examination, the NSTSE critically assesses a student’s strengths and weaknesses on the basis of concepts.

Please Note: This page will be updated soon

Unlike the regular examinations, NSTSE 2022-23 measures what and how well a student has understood the fundamentals instead of memorizing the existing facts. The Unified Council has been successfully conducting NSTSE in India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Indonesia, Oman, Kuwait, Russia, Nepal, Libya, Bahrain, Iran, and Tanzania. Since its inception in 1998, the Council has been working consistently towards testing and promoting talented young minds, instilling a competitive spirit among them, and ensuring their bright and enterprising future through tests like NSTSE.

NSTSE Advantages

It is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment developed in India for Indian schools, following a detailed study of the syllabi of the Central and various State Boards. Rather than testing rote learning, it tests how well SKILLS and CONCEPTS underlying the school syllabus have been learnt by the student. The test provides information on the strengths and weaknesses of individual students, and also of the entire class.

Feature Advantage
Skill-based. Provides feedback on real learning and relevance – actually tests what is being taught.
Provides a benchmark for students all over India. Allows the student to know where he/she stands.
Provides detailed analysis and feedback. Pinpoints areas of strengths and weaknesses.
Low cost. Affordable, accessible to all students (through schools or individually).
