  1. Tyndall effect is the scattering of the beam of light by the colloidal particles of the range of nanometers.
  2. Milk of Magnesium hydroxide has the chemical formula MgOH2.With molar mass 58.31g/mol. It appears as a white solid with hexagonal crystal structure. Milk of magnesia is produced industrially but a very small amount is mined. Milk of magnesia is very essential for making automobiles because of its good conductivity strength.
  3. Off the beam of light is passed through the milk of magnesia, then the Tyndall effect is observed as the particle of milk of magnesia acts as a barrier to the beam. This barrier is due to the particle size which restricts the flow of light in a straight line. Thus the Tyndall effect is observed.
  4. Hence milk of magnesia shows the Tyndall effect.
