Open in App
Solution

Pascal's triangle :
A triangular arrangement of number which give the coefficient in the expansion of x+yn

For eg:

n=1(x+y)1=x+yn=2,(x+y)2=x2+2xy+y2n=3,(x+y)3=x3+3x2y+3xy2+y3

Pascal's triangle are as follows :

n=11n=2121n=31331n=414641n=515101051andsoon

Hence, from the pascal triangle we can find the coefficient in expansion.
