Open in App
Solution

The equation of a circle centre at the origin:

The equation of a circle centre at the origin is given by

x2+y2=r2

The equation of a circle centre at (h,k):

When the center of a circle is not at the origin, then the equation of the circle is

(x-h)2+(y-k)2=r2

Where,

(h,k)is the center of the circle.

Hence, this way we can find the equation of a circle on a graph.
